Later in the opening segment, Fry mentioned that BAFTA was introducing a...kiss cam this year, which began by landing on Stanley Tucci and Cuba Gooding, Jr, leading to Gooding getting a kiss on the cheek, and Gooding returning the favour by smooching Tucci on his bald head. Other game participants included Julianne Moore and Bryan Cranston, who pretended to make out passionately for the camera, and Rebel Wilson and Eddie Izzard, who pretty much just did it for real (and frankly, Rebel looked pretty turned on). It's as cringe-worthy as anything, but at least the actors were good sports, as otherwise it could've gotten truly embarrassing and awkward.
