23 X-Men Movie Mistakes You Probably Missed

7. Callisto Is Basically More Powerful Than Professor X - X-Men: The Last Stand

In the first two movies - and indeed in First Class - it is established that despite being one of the two most powerful (or at least two most tuned in to their powers) mutants, the Professor requires the amplification of Cerebro to boost his powers enough to find mutants around the world. He cannot just touch his head and work out that there's an elasto-girl in Ohio, let alone India, but another mutant exists who makes his ability to locate mutants laughably diluted.

Despite the lack of her own Cerebro unit, Callisto - the mutant who confusingly marries super-speed with an in-built mutant GPS system - is able to pin-point the position of other mutants, as she does to Mystique and also the newly revived Phoenix.

She is presumably a much stronger mutant than Xavier, and yet she's basically given secondary billing, when her powers should be classed as the most useful for either Magneto or Xavier, since both of them are very interested in locating other mutants.
