14. Marina Pierro
Marina Pierro is an Italian actress with exquisite looks. She is most often associated with the work of art house/erotica director Walerian Borowczyk, for whom she starred in several movies including Behind Convent Walls -which delved into the secret sex lives of a bunch of cloistered nuns - and also in Dr Jekyll et les femmes, Borowczyk's take on the classic tale. Another Borowczyk collaboration followed with Ceremonie D'Amour. Marina had a major role in Jean Rollin's La morte vivante - The Living Dead Girl. She played Hélène, the doomed friend of zombie Christina. Her filmography is short and sweet and she appears to have retired from the business at the start of the 90s.
13. Sandra Julien
Sandra Julien had a short run of excellent performances in Euro Cult classics before she retired when hard core sex became predominant. She started her career with French horror maverick Jean Rollin in Les Frissons des Vampires where she played an innocent young bride who falls into the hands of a sect of vampires. Perhaps her finest hour in Euro Cult cinema came with I am a Nymphomaniac, directed by Max Pécas. She played a girl who falls down the stairs and a knock on her head turns her into the titular Nympho. She falls victim to a pair of depraved libertines with unhappy results. Another film Julien was involved with is the highly watchable I am Frigid.. Why? in which she stars as a young teenage girl who is raped by an incestuous brother-sister pair and has to go on a voyage to free herself sexually. The word 'frigid' in the title may imply that there is no sex, but the film is bursting with it. A real treat for the Sandra Julien fans out there.
