25 Best Harry Potter Movie Moments

12. Bringing Cedric's Body Back - Goblet Of Fire

At this point in the film, Harry has pretty much been through hell. He's just been physically tortured, watched his friend die suddenly, witnessed the rebirth of the most evil wizard in history, seen and interacted with his long-dead parents, and carried the aforementioned friend's body back to Hogwarts. And this kid is fourteen years old. Once the Portkey takes him back to the Triwizard Tournament, all of the cheering and screaming from the crowds is jarring and feels incredibly out of place. Poor Harry is clearly in shock, and all he can think of to do is cling to Cedric, sobbing. Slowly, the spectators realize that something has gone horribly wrong, and Amos Diggory comes forward and sees his son's lifeless body, the audience is having a hard time keeping it together. It's one of the most emotionally charged moments of the first four films, and a sign that things are about to get really serious.
