Plot: The story continues with Rama, who goes undercover to infiltrate the ranks of a Jakarta crime syndicate to protect his family and expose corruption within his police force. The only international film on this list, but one to really get excited about: I gladly welcome a sequel to The Raid: Redemption, which is one of the best action films I've seen in the past ten years. The Indonesian film premiered in US theaters less than two years ago. Most of those who have seen it, myself included, were blown away. The Raid: Redemption is a relentlessly thrilling action-packed film, putting the majority of action movies made in Hollywood to shame. The incredible stunts, the pacing, the editing---all top notch. Now we're being treated to another film in the series, which sees the return of Iko Uwais as the main character, Rama, and the majority of the cast from the first film have come back as well. The trailer promises that Berandal will be just as chaotic and exciting as the first. Surely any fan of Redemption will be pumped up for this. Let's hope it can live up to the hype created by the first movie. U.S. Release Date: March 28th
