12. Ted 2

Ted 2
Universal Pictures

Release Date: 26th June

Almost 3 years to the day that Ted scored Seth MacFarlane scored a $550m hit with the original, the little bear who could (not give a f*ck) returns to screens. This time he's fighting for the right to exist in law, in order to be allowed to legally have custody of the child he asks best friend John to make for him.

Cue a lot of sperm jokes (including the one from the trailer that is a shot for shot remake of a Family Guy gag).

Selling Point

Ted was great: it was basically just an extended opportunity to laugh at the same calibre of outrageous humour as Family Guy and that worked perfectly. Though the narrative has changed somewhat, if you're expecting anything different, you probably shouldn't bother seeing it.

Reservations

MacFarlane's humour doesn't always work as well as he'd like to, as the majority of the people who wasted their money on A Million Ways To Die In The West will happily attest.
