25 Most Hotly Anticipated Movies Of Summer 2015
21. Insidious: Chapter 3
Release Date: 5th June
Considering the first two made more than $250m from a combined budget of $6.5m, it wasn't surprising that a third in the Insidious franchise would rear its ugly head. For fans, that's good news, and given their spending power relative to the cumulative horror genre box office take, they're actually a fairly key demographic.
Selling Point
For fans, it's all about the brand name, and to a certain extent the prequel is pretty critic proof (just as its predecessor was).
Reservations
The rule of three for horror movies isn't exactly very promising, and the fact that it's a prequel ticks off a rather unfortunate second box for anyone expecting to be underwhelmed.
Let's just hope it's at least scary.
