25 Most Hotly Anticipated Movies Of Summer 2016 - Ranked
11. The Infiltrator

Release Date: July 13th
Billed As: Bryan Cranston goes from meth lord to drugs cartel buster as the undercover DEA agent who helped toppple Escobar. Sort of like Breaking Good, then.
Hype: Since Breaking Bad, theres nothing Bryan Cranston does that isnt met with an added level of hype. In a matter of a few years, the former Malcolm In The Middle star has gone from a very gifted comedy actor to one of Hollywoods hottest properties, and hes seemingly on a mission to make only interesting films.
The next is this real life tale of DEA agent Robert Mazur who broke into the money laundering scene for drug cartels, before helping uncover the financial activities of notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar.
It boils down to a chance to see Cranston embracing his dark side a little (albeit as part of his undercover persona) and playing on the other side of the drug battle divide. It sounds great (even if director Brad Furmans last - Runner Runner - was an impenetrable stinker).
