13. Aldrich Killian (Iron Man 3)
Aldrich Killian is the founder and CEO of the Advanced Idea Mechanics. He was snubbed completely by Tony Stark when he asked him to join him in his research, so Killian went at it alone over a period of several years with vengeance the top of his agenda. He participated in the development of the Extremis virus and created the Mandarin, supposedly one of the most feared terrorists in the world. With the Mandarin and a group of Extremis-enhanced soldiers under his command, he intended to replace the US President with his pawn and take control over both sides of the War on Terror, thus manipulating them for his own profit. Of course, Tony Stark's Iron Man would stand in his way, but such was Killian's power that he even overwhelmed him. Thanks to the Extremis virus, Killian displayed various superhuman abilities, such as being able to regrow entire body parts, super-strength, an enhanced healing factor and a touch which was able to melt and cut through Iron Man's armour. At one point he even channelled the heat produced by Extremis to spit fire at James Rhodes.
