25 Predictions For Summer 2016's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

6. Ice Age: Collision Course (22%)

Predicted Critical Consensus: "Another step down for the Ice Age franchise, Collision Course attempts to coasts on its charming, familiar characters, but forgets to do anything remotely interesting or entertaining with them." The pattern here has been pretty blatant so far: the original film scored a solid 77%, and each subsequent Ice Age has simply dipped lower than the one before, the second, third and fourth films scoring 57%, 45% and 37% respectively. While it's entirely possible that this sequel nobody really asked for could buck the trend, it doesn't seem likely: expect a ton more Scrat skits, a piecemeal plot, some treacly messages about family and...not much else. It won't be unbearably bad, but it'll just be pretty dull.
