25 Shocking CGI Movie Moments That Left You Speechless

2. The Multiverse - The Flash

There are a few contenders for the worst movie in the DCEU, and one that arguably makes a stronger case than any is Andy Muschietti's The Flash. Riddled with issues both on and off screen, and caught in the middle of the transition into James Gunn's DCU, the film was a certified dud.

As is a common theme on this list, the poor CGI was one of many, many flaws, but was arguably the hardest to ignore. It got off to a bad start with the images of Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) saving the babies falling from a collapsing hospital, but it would get so much worse by the end of it.

As with too many comic book projects in recent years, The Flash attempted an exploration of the multiverse, and in doing so made the incredibly puzzling decision to portray some "Elseworlds" DC heroes with some of the shoddiest special effects possible.

From Christopher Reeve and Helen Slater as Superman and Supergirl, passing shots of Adam West as Batman, and Nicholas Cage as the Man of Steel, not only was the scene a huge swing and a miss in terms of taste and fan service, but it looked horrific.
