Long before Tom Holland slung his way into our hearts as Spider-Man, he was dancing his way into them on the West End in Billy Elliot the Musical. He then headed to Hollywood and starred in 2012's The Impossible, which earned him praise from critics. He would go on to appear in a number of films such as How I Live and In The Heart of The Sea. However, it was his role as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War that changed things dramatically for him.
With Marvel fans watching him closely, Holland shined as Peter Parker and delivered a commendably comic-accurate performance in the superhero ensemble film, before doing it all again on his own in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The British actor quietly worked his way up through Hollywood to become a leading man, and with another Spider-Man movie on the horizon, along with multiple other roles too, Tom Holland isn't going anywhere but up.
