Ross Butler kick-started his career in TV with recurring roles on Disney Channel series K.C. Undercover, Chasing Life and Teen Wolf. His breakthrough role came along when he portrayed good-natured jock Zach Dempsey in Netflix's 13 Reasons Why. At the same time, he also had significant recurring role as Archie Comics character Reggie Mantle on The CW's Riverdale, but had to leave the show when he encountered scheduling conflicts with the Netflix series.
His 13 Reasons Why character had a much more prominent role in the show's second season and Butler flourished in the spotlight — and he will likely do the same in Season 3. However, that's not the only reason why the actor will have a pretty great 2019, as he is also making his first major feature-film appearance in Shazam! in an as-of-yet undisclosed role.
