During Bond's chat with Q, the quartermaster mentions that they had originally allocated the new Aston Martin DB-10 prototype for him, but due to his grounding, it's instead been given to 009. The character isn't seen, but it's interesting to hear a mention of another 00 agent, something which to this point hasn't happened since the Craig reboot began, or in fact many films before (most memorably was with Sean Bean's 006 in GoldenEye). Of course, Bond ends up stealing the DB-10 from Q as he heads to Rome, leaving behind a bottle of champagne as a cheeky gift.
