30 Horror Movie Survivors Who Probably Wished They'd Died
29. House Of 9 - Lea
This one's a more obscure character. Lea (Kelly Brook, who gives a surprisingly solid performance despite her limited acting experience) is the lead character of House of 9, a forgettable but well-acted death game horror from the UK.
In this 2004 film, the rules are simple: nine strangers are locked in a house, and eight of them must be killed before one of them is allowed to leave with £5 million. Grim stuff.
By the time all is said and done, Lea is that one escapee... or so it looks.
Alas, once Lea does escape with the money, she enters a new house with several other frazzled survivors, all holding their own bags of money, and she realizes that the nightmare isn't over yet. In fact, that was only the first part of the game. Oh, come on!
There is an alternate ending where Lea does actually escape and is informed by the movie's unseen villain that she's now a member of the world's most exclusive survival club. Still, even then, she'll have to live with the painful memories of her experience for the rest of her life, so whichever ending you look at, Lea's got a rough road ahead.
