31 Horror Movies You Must Watch This October 2022
6. Dark Glasses
Horror legend Dario Argento is back with his first feature film in a decade, and while certainly not on par with the director's finest works, Dark Glasses is nevertheless an encouraging step back in the right direction.
Much like Cronenberg's latest, Dark Glasses lifts liberally from the director's five-decade canon of work, crafting an entertaining pastiche that doesn't take itself remotely seriously.
Ilenia Pastorelli stars as Diana, a woman who is blinded by a serial killer and then, with the help of a young Chinese boy (Andrea Zhang), attempts to track the killer down.
This doesn't offer anything new for giallo fans, but it's simply neat to see the 82-year-old Argento crafting fun, ridiculous movies again.
Dark Glasses releases on Shudder on October 13.
