There are various reasons why you should be suspicious of children: they take all your money and freedom and ruin your social life and all of your things, chiefly, but they're also quite clearly in touch with the Devil, as proven by their frequent, devastatingly effective appearances in horror movies.

Nothing sells creepiness like the perverse application of innocence: and that goes doubly if said innocent child is wearing a creepy sack-cloth over their face. The Orphanage's most memorable moment comes when Bag Boy first appears, ominously walking along the corridor before a violent attack that will curl your toes almost inside out.
