35 Star Trek Actors Who Died In 2022

15. Tim McCormack

Star Trek Tim McCormack
CBS

Tim McCormack has the dual honour of appearing in 51 episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation as a background performer, and in one memorably terrifying episode, a dead body. But he was also the main body double for Brent Spiner, meaning McCormack also technically played Data. That's a fairly decent role to have on the resume!

He would perhaps be more well known for his roles in The Colbys and Miami Vice, with dozens of appearances between both.

He sadly passed away unexpectedly at age 74. He was remembered fondly by several of the cast and crew of The Next Generation via their Twitter accounts.
