35 Star Trek Actors Who Died In 2022

5. Leslie Jordan

Leslie Jordan made a memorable appearance in Star Trek: Voyager as Kol, one of the two Ferengi who had been stranded in the Delta Quadrant by the Barzan Wormhole years before. Ever the opportunists, they managed to form a quasi-religion around themselves, only to be scuppered by the Starfleet crew.

Jordan was a hilarious actor who is best known for his role as Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace. He dialled the camp up to eleven, facing off against Megan Mullally's Karen time and time again, speaking all of the homophobic soundbites, while clearly playing for the same team as both Will and Jack - but how dare anyone suggest such a thing (he's just my business associate Benji!)

Jordan would appear in many stage and television productions through the years, including guest roles on Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story. He was an actor, a musician, and a writer.

He died at the age 67, following a car crash that investigators believe was brought on by a medical incident.
