2. Smaller Scale Battles

We've already seen Henry Cavill's Superman have an epic battle with General Zod - and indeed the latter's henchman - in which buildings and landscapes were wrecked due to the severity of and the power involved in the fights. That can't happen in this movie because, if Superman was at full power, he'd turn Batman to a red and bloody mist in a single punch. Consequently, the only way that the two are going to be able to fight fairly is to bring Superman down to Batman's level, probably using Kryptonite to do so. As a result, the fight scenes will be taking a big step down on the epic scale in comparison to those in Man of Steel, with both characters operating at human level. It could, therefore, turn out to be an enormous anti-climax in comparison.
