4 Reasons Batman vs Superman Won't Be As Good As Man Of Steel (And 4 It Will Be)

1. Ben Affleck

It's no secret that there was a pretty huge fan backlash when Ben Affleck was controversially cast as Bruce Wayne for this movie. Most of the outrage stems from the fact that Affleck previously starred in another superhero effort - 2003's Daredevil - which was extremely poorly received and, as a result, many fans don't believe he has the acting chops to play a superhero lead. That said, anyone would've had trouble rescuing that movie, because it was simply terrible in terms of writing, plot and general feel. But that doesn't matter to some - Affleck just isn't right in some people's eyes. Sadly, knowing the stubbornness of some comic book fans, nothing will change this view and, however well Affleck performs as Batman, it won't be good enough and the movie will be criticised. Essentially, there's just no pleasing some people and Affleck's casting is just an excuse to slam the movie before it's even been released and nothing will change their mind.
