8. Jurassic World 2

Even though there is a slightly worrying hint that the upcoming fifth Jurassic Park movie might be taking a lead from the cancelled Jurassic Park IV that would have featured dino-human hybrid soldiers, the sequel is definitely still welcome.

Following on from Dr. Henry Wu's escape with the dino embryos, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return (minus the high-heels and the raptors unfortunately - but the dinos might return), as the plot looks more at the idea of weaponised dinosaurs.

Producer Colin Trevorrow - who has been replaced as director by JA Bayona - says it won't be limited to a theme park, either, so maybe we're going to see a full-blown dino-monster movie in an urban environment. Or maybe a dino-war movie. Either way, they sound delightfully mental.
