1. A Serbian Film (2010)
I don't really know where to begin with this film. Written by the Aleksander Radivojevic and Srdjan Spasojevic and directed by the latter of the two; this Serbian film focuses on a retired pornstar being asked to return to his trade for a one-off film that would bring him and his family enough money so they could live happily for their rest of their lives without having to worry about their finances again. The only catch is that once the main character has signed his contract he won't know anything about his scenes or storyline until the time comes for him to perform. From the outset, this could make many feel a bit dubious about watching, but as a horror fan and hearing the buzz on the internet I needed to see it. I just so happened that on the day that I purchased said film my girlfriend was also at my house; so I subjected her to it as well. This film is the whole crux of this article! If someone if willing to sit through the horrific and devastating movie and still stay with you afterwards, then they truly love you. The first act contains some rather extreme sex acts and through the following two the film seems to descend into the depths of hell with its content. It is not a film to be taken lightly, in my own personal opinion; and whilst I still own a copy neither me nor my girlfriend have managed to bring ourselves to watching it again.
