4. Tiger Shark

Tiger Shark is Todd Arliss - a record-breaking Olympic swimmer but otherwise an ordinary human. After being exposed to an experimental genetic engineering process by Dr. Dorcas, he becomes an amphibious humanoid with the traits of a human, an Atlantean (Homo mermanus), and a tiger shark. As Tiger Shark, he possesses the same superhuman strength, stamina, water speed and durability as Namor the Submariner, although he must be immersed in water to achieve and maintain his full strength.
How could he cameo humorously? He could cameo in 'the Big House' - a supervillain prison whereby all inmates are shrunk by Henry Pym's size-altering particles. For this slot, I was looking for a villain who had both been in the Big House and who was also linked to a character who could be introduced in future movies. In the comics, Tiger Shark has at some point been captured and shrunk by Henry Pym (Ant-Man), who we already know is appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe very soon. When the Ant-Man film is released, it wouldn't be surprising for the Big House to be a key part of the plot. This could work with numerous inmates of the Big House, but it could work well with Tiger Shark in particular for two reasons: 1) He's very fearsome looking. So if the camera was focused on his face, it would be very funny if it was to pan out to reveal he's actually only a couple of inches tall and incarcerated. 2) On a non-humorous level, it could be a novel way to reveal the fact that Namor exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - given that Tiger Shark is strongly linked to him - and give audiences something to think about whilst also providing them with a little laughter. Namor has already been hinted at, which Atlantis featuring as a point on a map as an Easter egg in Iron Man 2. A similar 'panning out' scenario could be done with a villain who has already been subdued in the Marvel Universe, such as Abomination, but it might be a better long-term idea to do it with someone new. Either way, it would be funny to see a formidable looking villain turn out to be tiny.
