The titular femme fatale is hands down the character we're most looking forward to seeing. With "A Dame to Kill For" being one of the best and most popular stories from Frank Miller's series, it seemed a no-brainer that, after being left out of the first film, a sequel would give it the time and attention it deserved, with Ava Lord slinking in to turn Dwight's life -- and the lives of a number of others in Basin City, for that matter -- upside down. Though Robert Rodriguez once declared he wanted Angelina Jolie in the role, times have changed and the casting of Eva Green serves as a flawless match between character and actor, with Green bringing with her the necessary physical appeal of the character as well as her natural ability to seem elusively dangerous, capable of slitting someone's throat before they even realize what's happen. Green is a great actress more than capable of bringing an already great character to even greater realization and watching her spin her web around someone like Josh Brolin is going to be undeniably fun. With the film drawing in so many new faces along with the old ones, fans undoubtedly have their own curiosities about what the new blood is going to bring to the table.
