2. Porcupine
Porcupine (Alexander Gentry) started out as a scientist working as a weapons designer for the United States military. His idea was to build battle-suits which imitated porcupines, covered with quill-like projections for defensive purposes. He built one and it was able to shoot its quills, gases, flames, chemicals, paralysis-inducing pellets and other weapons from quill-like tubes at an opponent. Although Gentry spent months working overtime perfecting his creation, he also believed that the government were going to pay very little for it. As a result, he angrily decided to keep the suit for himself and to used it to become wealthy through crime. Thus Gentry became the Porcupine, one of the first costumed professional criminals of his generation. Ant-Man and his partner the Wasp soon defeated him during an attempt to rob a bank, but the Porcupine succeeded in escaping. After Pym had gone on to assume the superhuman powers and identity of Giant-Man, Porcupine returned for revenge. During the resulting battle, the Porcupine consumed what he thought was a Giant-Man growth medium, but which instead shrunk him to microscopic size - and that would make for a very cool conclusion to a movie, with Gentry being taken in to S.H.I.E.L.D custody and housed in a tiny prison.
