4. Eastwood Is Still (And Always Will Be) A Badass
At 78, Clint Eastwood was putting his boot in people's faces and pointing finger guns at people he didn't approve of and he looked damn good doing it. Gran Torino is the best proof that Eastwood can still bring the heat when it comes to aggressive and physically demanding roles. If Gran Torino isn't enough validation for why the man could pull off Dirty Harry 6 then you just ain't a fan or you will never be convinced. Beyond that let's move on to Clint Eastwood the man. He's an 83 year old badass that still knocks out a film every few years and bucks the trend as much as he can. The man does not allow his age to force him to play it safe and that makes him a true badass. He refuses to let let his seniority stand in his way and he acts as if he's half his age (which is a good thing). This is most likely why people still pine for a final Dirty Harry movie. Eastwood has not been put out to pasture quite yet. Seeing the man direct or promote material only proves that he's still got it in him to convey a character with real grit and emotion.
