5 Reasons To Be Excited For Universal's Halloween Horror Nights 2022
2. All The Other Horrifying Fun
Though the houses might be the star attractions of HHN, it's everything else that make it the best Halloween event in the world.
Aside from the 10 mazes, fans get to enjoy 5 Scare Zones that envelope you in the horror. These Scare Zones are located throughout the park, leaving you with no where to hide. Each year, just like the houses, Scare Zones are a mixture of big names and home-grown creations.
Past Scare Zones have included huge names such as The Purge, Trick 'r' Treat and The Walking Dead. We even had a Rob Zombie themed area in 2019.
Just like the mazes often the original creations are the ones that stick with you long after. Vamp 55 was so popular is came back as Vamp 85. We all fell in love with Anarch-Cade at the 2019 event. Let's also not forget the roaming chainsaw gangs waiting to strike as you move from house to house.
Aside from Scare Zones, Universal Orlando Resort have confirmed that this year there will be two shows. Last year we were treated to 'Halloween Nightmare Fuel' a stage show with fire performers, acrobats and a big soundtrack.
The second show last year was 'Marathon of Mayhem: Carnage Factory', a spectacular projection and laser show on the lagoon. Fingers crossed we see the show come back this year with an update to incorporate all the new IPs and originals.
