5 Villains Who Should Appear In The Amazing Spider-Man 3 & 4

1. Kingpin

kingpinWho Is He? A powerful crime lord named Wilson Fisk who is a tactical genius and, despite his size, an incredibly skilled martial artist with near superhuman strength. Why Would He Make A Good Villain? A more adult version of Kingpin was seen in 2003€™s Daredevil film played by the late Michael Clarke-Duncan. It was one of the few good parts of the film and showed why he would be such a good villain. He€™s more grounded than your average supervillain and a more potent threat because of that. He doesn€™t go in for a lot of showy theatrics and is pragmatic and efficient about what he does since murder and crime are his bread and butter. Like Moriarty in Series One of Sherlock, Kingpin would be the perfect villain to subtly set up in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and reveal properly just after its climax as a lead-in to the fourth film, with him having been pulling the strings behind the events in the third film. The best role for the character would be as the chess-master, frequently sending out gangs of hired goons or lesser villains like Shocker and Chameleon to do his bidding while focussing on maintaining control over his plans and plotting his next move. For most of the film Kingpin should be an armchair tactician, with him only becoming an active villain in the final act after Spider-Man has become so much of a threat that he needs to deal with him personally, similar to the confrontation between Kingpin and Daredevil in the Daredevil film. And that€™s where his physical strength would really come into play. Especially if, as in the animated series, he was established as having only 2% body fat and 350lbs of muscle.
