3. The Legend Of Zelda
There isn't a gamer out there that doesn't think a Legend of Zelda movie would be a fantastic idea. With the success of things like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and The Hobbit never has the fantasy genre been such a money spinner and one of the greatest untapped franchises is Nintendo's classic action-adventure game. We can thank IGN for this stunning looking fake trailer and it's obvious no expense has been spared in creating it. All the elements are there - the beautiful princess in peril, the ugly Ganon and our heroic little badass in his green tunic and pointed cap. There are countless adventures already waiting to be adapted from the Link/Zelda Universe and of course Hollywood could adapt the characters into any scenario they so desired, potentially creating another movie franchise that would look right at home in the Summer Blockbuster line up.
