Matthew Vaughn adapts another comic book project from Mark Millar (Kick-Ass), in which a veteran secret agent (Colin Firth) takes a young protege (Taron Egerton) under his wing, with outrageous results. If you aren't yet convinced, here's a red-band trailer, which makes it clear this is pretty much going to be a straight-up spy version of Kick-Ass. Samuel L. Jackson looks to be playing at his villainous best, while the cast is rounded out by Michael freaking Caine and Mark Strong, with cameos from Adele, Elton John, Lady Gaga and David Beckham. Admittedly some of the CGI looks rather spotty in the trailer, but hopefully there's time to tune this up ahead of release, because on the whole, it looks awesome. Release Date: February 12th
