After Ted took in more than $500 million at the worldwide box office, it wasn't exactly a surprise that Seth MacFarlane was corralled into making a follow-up to the tale about a foul-mouthed, boozy stoner bear (MacFarlane) and his best bud John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg). Though the plot details released so far don't exactly sound massively promising (namely that Mila Kunis has been hastily written out, with Amanda Seyfried playing a new love interest), the addition of actors like Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Dennis Haysbert, Michael Dorn (aka Worf from Star Trek), David Hasselhoff and John Slattery alongside a returning Sam J. Jones should at least be good for a few laughs. The law of diminishing returns will likely be in full effect, but hopefully MacFarlane can also still milk plenty of chuckles (and another $500 million pay-day) from the lovably obscene stuffed play-thing.
