Is there anything to like about Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers? After all, even in a series that also has Halloween: Resurrection (more on that in a little while), this is arguably the worst of the lot.

Well, yes, in the same way that every film has its flaws, every film has its positives, too. Namely, we get to see Michael Myers offing this absolute turd of a human being by electrocuting him until his head literally explodes. The catharsis was undeniable.

So, is there anything to like about John Strode (Bradford English? Not really, he's the kind of character who could be a horror movie villain himself. Michael Myers is a fantasy figure, but John is, sadly, a far more believable character, and there are plenty of men like him out in the real world. He's a bullying, abusive family patriarch who torments and beats his family members on a regular basis, including his young grandson.

Michael never faced anyone else as purely vile as this in any of the other films, and even though John (who's the uncle of Laurie Strode, who's deceased in this particular continuity) isn't in the movie that much, fans have never forgotten him, nor have they forgotten the satisfaction of seeing his end.
