5. Matilda (Matilda, 1996)
It's not clear how many of you will agree with this choice but for this writer Mara Wilson's titular character in the 1996 adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic kids story Matilda is deserving of a poke in the eye by a mile. She's a nice enough little girl for sure and you have to pity her growing up with the family she has but that's no excuse to turn into a wise ass, know all brat who uses her magical powers to ruin her families lives. Just because she can read really big books at about 3 years old that even I struggle with doesn't mean she's better than me! Matilda is also a witch who abuses her gifts - what would Dumbledore have to say about that? And what's all this about Miss Trunchbull being horrible? Look how much cake she let's Bruce Bogtrotter eat. Kids these days. Never bloody happy.
