4. Buster Blues (Blues Brothers 2000, 1998)
We've never quite understood here at WhatCulture exactly why Hollywood is so intent on taking successful adult franchises and watering them down to make them appeal to a younger audience. Take Blues Brothers 2000 for example. Assuming it hadn't been a monumental failure that failed to make back even half its budget at the box office what were the supposed legions of young fans going to do after they watched their new favourite movie? Go out and rent the original foul mouthed, alcohol fuelled Blues Brothers? Doubtful. This idea makes about as much sense as having Son of Rambow be an actual movie about Rambo's son. It is for that very reason that J. Evan Bonifant's Buster Blues makes our list. He's the Scappy Doo of the Blues Brothers franchise - an irritating, unwanted little eye sore that drags even the best jokes down to an almost sickly sweet level. Sure he tries to be cool but he fails. Miserably. In fact the future award winning star of 3 Ninjas Kick Back is embarrassing at best.
