6 Comic Book Films ONLY Fanboys Can Hate

Honourable Mentions:

christian bale the dark knight risesThe Dark Knight Rises. I don't understand how people can nitpick a story about a man who dresses like a bat (This site is no exception). You can suspend your disbelief for this but you can't when it about his fateful trip to India. And one more thing, he does not use a bat voice, HE HAS A VOICE SCRAMBLER BUILT INTO HIS SUIT. That's why he still talks with the trademark growl even when people know who he is. That right there is the most infuriating aspect of the fan boy complaints about this picture. Most of their arguments can be rebuked with straight ahead thinking. It's common sense people, not rocket science. But it does not make this list as even though it is ripped apart with a fine tooth comb, it generally is accepted as a good film. Superman Returns: Same as tTe Dark Knight rises, suffers from a severe nitpicking from most but is generally accepted to be good movie.

2009 Watchmen Keyart

Watchmen; The movie that apparently everyone asked for, was delivered to near perfect synchronicity when it comes to adaptation of the source material but seemingly still all got your knickers in a twist. I can't understand the argument you people make when you say "the movie is not true to the source material" but when one comes along that takes it literally frame by frame you still complain. But as is this movie is generally accepted by fan boys to be a good film. Although anyone who thinks seeing Malin Ackerman in all of her glory as "uncomfortable to watch" or "completely unnecessary" needs to rethink their sexual preferences I reckon...

Dis-Honourable Mentions

Batman and RobinBatman and Robin: Yeah, I get the hate, ha. I get the ridicule. There is no doubt how badly this film was made. But with the horror stories about Warner Brothers and how they rushed pre-production I can hardly blame just the filmmakers. And don't forget that I mentioned that the only Batman I knew of before Michael Keaton was Adam West, so I will deny the hate and be the first one to stand up proudly and say "yes, not only can I be entertained when I watch this film but can enjoy it also." Plus it is actually a great way to introduce Batman to the little kids as I have had experience with this personally. My ex's 5 year old son loved this movie when I showed it to him and he became obsessed with all things Batman, so I say to you is that a bad thing? My advice to first timers is to watch it as a sequel to the 1966 tv movie. Then tell me how much fun you had spouting off Mr Freeze one liners. Green Lantern Although I do enjoy this movie, I can understand SOME of the hate in which it's directed. They went the kid route when they instead should've lined this up to be the dark precursor to the Justice League. So it doesn't make the list.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
