7 Best Henry Cavill Roles To Date

7. Evan Marshall - Blood Creek

Blood Creek Henry Cavill
Lionsgate

Joel Schumacher's Blood Creek (aka Town Creek) is a smaller film, though it has seen something of a disservice in the way that it was marketed. Lionsgate films have succuesfully managed to launch several franchises, The Hunger Games being one of them, while others have fallen by the wayside.

This film is one of the latter examples. Starring Cavill and Dominic Purcell as estranged, trigger happy brothers, the film also features Michael Fassbender on top creepy form as a cursed Nazi Doctor.

The occult side of the story stems from Hitler's supposed obsession with the Occult during his lifetime, with the Nazi Richard Wirth intent on bringing about the end of the world through the use of an ancient Rune stone. He is stopped and bound by a family, though human sacrifice is required to keep him in place.

Enter Cavill and Purcell.

The boys, after the attempted abduction of Purcell, go to the farm and take on the man doctor. While the film may not be the most amazing of Cavill's career, he manages to effectively bring some humanity to a slightly one note character, and seeing him alongside the ever-brilliant Fassbender is a treat.

The film closes with Cavill's Marshall on the way to hunt down more Nazi's out there. It may not be the beginnings of a cinematic universe, but a mini-series would be nice!
