Kids generally don't get enough credit do they? Imagine how difficult it must be to be a child actor. Sure, you get the fame though this is usually damaging for children and it generally results in reckless, dangerous behavior. You get a lot of money though nowhere near the amount your fellow adult actors and actresses will get paid for doing half the job you had to do. You also get to say that you were once in that film when you are older but in order for you to have been in that film, you will have had to sacrifice a normal childhood. Ok, ok. So being a child actor isn't the most difficult job in the world (and a lot of us wish we could have been one), and for those who are emotionally mature to be able to deal with everything that comes with it, it can lead on to you having a pretty lucky existence. But I don't think child actors get the credit or respect that they deserve. Often, children will convey mature and emotional responses in their roles that most adults couldn't even convey, let alone act. The following list of child actors are actors who I consider made the movies they were in great. Despite their movies featuring A-list Hollywood actors, these children were equally the match of their bigger name cast members and often out acted them. Not all of these actors have gone on to do great things in movies since these roles, but all of them will be, or at least should be remembered forever for giving an amazing performance that made what could have otherwise have been a forgettable film into an astounding one. Having written many articles for WhatCulture in the past, I know not all of you will agree with these 7, and though these 7 are my personal favorite, they won't be the personal favorites of a lot of you (well, at least not all of them). Also, I am sure that I either forgot some great performances, or have yet to see all the films where they might be a performance which is that much greater.
