7 Harry Potter Villains Who Weren’t In Slytherin

4. Percy Weasley (Gryffindor)

Though he redeemed himself during the finale of The Deathly Hallows, Percy was also a power-hungry narcissist for a significant portion of the series.

Motivated by his political ambition, Percy refused to believe Voldemort had returned despite having been friendly towards Harry for almost four years. What’s more, he insulted his family and told his father that the reason the Weasleys were poor was that he had no ambition. Given Mr Weasley’s kind-hearted nature, such a comment is completely inappropriate.

And as Cornelius Fudge’s personal assistant, he developed a close bond with the Minister and actively enjoyed witnessing Harry’s trial and Dumbledore’s false confession about the DA.

Even when the Ministry admitted it was wrong to deny Voldemort’s return, Percy didn’t rekindle his relationship with his father. Indeed, he was so vain that he refused to speak to his family for another two years.
