7 Horror Actors Who Secretly Hate Horror Movies

4. Emily Blunt Is A Bit Of A Scaredy-Cat

A Quiet Place
Paramount Pictures

Emily Blunt was lauded for her performance in A Quiet Place (2018), and she will be reprising the role of Evelyn Abbott in A Quiet Place Part II, which is due to be released next year.

Directed by her husband John Krasinski, the film follows a family as they attempt to survive in a post-apocalyptic world populated by sound-sensitive monsters. Laden with tension and chock full of jump scares, working on A Quiet Place must have been an unnerving experience for Blunt, who is quite a scaredy-cat when it comes to films of the horror variety.

In the past, Blunt has admitted that horror is not her strong suit. Speaking to IMDB, she said that she is "terrified of probably every film that's vaguely scary". Before making A Quiet Place, Krasinski shared her views on the subject, noting that he had never previously had a major interest in horror films because he found them too frightening.
