7 Incredible Saw X Easter Eggs You May Have Missed

5. An Iconic Logo Returns

Here's one for the true movie buffs.

While many cinema-goers may have still been shuffling to their seats, opening their sweets or munching on some popcorn before the movie's goriness put them off any sort of food consumption, an Easter egg subtly arrived on-screen before we even really got going.

In fact, this one was even announced ahead of time on the Lionsgate YouTube channel! And if you check out the comments on that video, you can see the return of a simple logo came much to the delight of many avid Saw fans.

Despite last appearing 13 years ago in Saw 3D, the iconic Lionsgate "red gears" logo returned to appease Saw fans who no doubt have seen this opening scene many times on silver screens and DVDs over the years. While it only lasts 23 seconds, the gears and cogs grinding and panning out to the viewpoint of the viewer watching through a keyhole, had become a staple of the series before disappearing for Jigsaw and Spiral.

This, of course, provided the perfect tone-setter for the movie and maybe gave a hint to anyone who didn't know that Saw X may not quite be set in the present-day...
