7 Most Important Things We Still Haven't Seen In The X-Men Movies

4. Legion

Legion is a character so interesting that it€™s almost impossible to think of why he hasn€™t appeared before now, especially as he€™s Charles Xavier€™s unstable mutant son. A powerful psionic mutant, Legion, or David Haller as his parents call him when he€™s not in trouble, struggles with a split personality. Unfortunately for the world around him, each of David€™s personalities command a different element of his mutant powers, making him an unpredictable and dangerous foe to face off against. With a greater emphasis being placed on Charles as a fully-rounded character in recent years now would be the perfect time to introduce Legion, especially as he ends up spending a lot of time on Moira MacTaggart€™s Muir Island base, a location we€™ve already seen. A fight against Legion would also see Charles struggle between his head and his heart even more than he already has been in the prequel films so far, whilst potentially giving Magneto a chance to stand by his old friend once again instead of standing opposite him on the battlefield. We€™ve seen Charles battle to save Raven/Mystique for two films now, having him confront the worst of mutant kind contained in elements of his own flesh and blood would give the character yet another dimension. It€™d also reduce the focus of the series to an intensely personal space for one of its main players, and with an actor as good as James McAvoy still in the role of Prof. X, it€™s an opportunity that really shouldn€™t be passed up.
