
If the movies have taught us anything, it's to blindly cheer for fictional heroes as they go about their daily business: punching henchman, seducing women, and jumping in slow-motion away from explosions. And mindlessly rooting for a hero feels good, doesn't it? Because ultimately, we all want to be something akin to a hero (despite the fact that, for most us, our "heroics" are judged by how long we can stare at the TV after work without falling asleep).
