7 Pieces Of Evidence That May Confirm The Joker Used To Be Robin

That's right, it sounds like they're really doing this!

From the second that first official image was revealed, Jared Leto's Joker has been causing controversy among comic book fans. Whether it's the teeth or tattoos, this new take on the Clown Prince of Crime has divided opinions and left us all with a lot of questions about the direction the iconic villain will be taken in in both Suicide Squad and (possibly) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While it's blatantly obvious that the DC Extended Universe's Joker is drastically different to previous live-action iterations (in part because of how much Jared Leto has revealed about his take on the character), one theory which has been doing the rounds lately is so shocking that the backlash will be massive if it's true. That points to Leto playing a former Robin who has become The Joker. That's not to say that he's the first Joker though; in fact, the signs point to the actor playing a version of the villain who has followed in the footsteps of Batman's greatest enemy. At first, this sounds like a crazy conspiracy theory thought up in a random comments section, but the worrying thing is that there's more than enough evidence to suggest that the one time Boy Wonder is now the Harlequin of Hate! Here, you will find the seven biggest pieces of evidence which appear to confirm that Robin and The Joker really are one and the same, so you'd best get your pitchforks and torches ready...
