7 Pieces Of Evidence That May Confirm The Joker Used To Be Robin

4. Jared Leto's Fake Eyebrows

As you may have noticed, Jared Leto has shaved off his eyebrows to play The Joker in Suicide Squad. However, one very interesting Instagram post from the actor which he shared during his time on the Toronto set featured him wearing some prosthetic eyebrows. A simple joke, or is the movie also going to explore The Joker's origin story as it will Harley Quinn's? Interestingly, one of the movie's stunt doubles posted some set photos revealing that part of Suicide Squad takes place at Ace Chemicals, the place that the Red Hood became The Joker after falling into a vat of chemicals during a battle with Batman. His face was never seen for that though, and seeing as it was Margot Robbie's double who posted those images, it could just be that The Joker takes her there to bleach her skin by throwing her into the same concoction he was bathed in. Then again, it could just be a random location which pops up in the movie featuring a nod only us comic geeks will understand! How does this link to Robin? Well, assuming that we won't be seeing The Joker's origin in Ace Chemicals, why else would Leto have fake eyebrows? It's possible we're going to see him as Robin before he decided to become The Joker, and while that's admittedly a stretch, it's not hard to imagine Suicide Squad touching on why the former sidekick decided to become Batman's greatest enemy, showing what he did to transform himself.
