6. Dark Willow

A cool premise for a movie villain would be to pluck one from within Buffy's friend circle - and none of her friends are as close to her as Willow Rosenberg. Played by the wonderful Alyson Hannigan for the duration of the seven Buffy seasons, Willow turned from a timid, nerdy schoolgirl into a powerful goddess-like witch - and in one season, this resulted in dire consequences. Willow's grief at the death of her girlfriend Tara at the hands of Warren Mears caused her to become evil and allow herself to be taken over by dark magics. In doing so, she found herself not caring much for the people close to her and she didn't think twice about taking them down if they stood in her way. Of course, Willow was essentially a "big bad", but her dark turn wasn't a season-long thing, as she shared the big bad duties in season six with the nerdy trio, so she could surely make the change from friend to foe in a two hour long movie. Seeing a new actress portraying Willow would be something that old fans of the show might find hard to accept, but it could make for one hell of a movie plot.
