What if at the close of the film, Magneto sees reason and helps the X-Men defeat Apocalypse? Perhaps after that previously-theorised death of Mystique? The only evidence so far for this conclusion is the above behind-the-scenes photo of Charles and Erik in civvies, chilling out in the basement corridors of the X-Mansion... but it's fairly damning. We can tell whatever scene is being filmed takes place at the end of the film, because the Prof has gone full Patrick Stewart with his hair and Magneto isn't sporting fashionable red battle gear with which to kill people in. If anything, they look positively chummy. Erik has flip-flopped from the side of the angels enough to establish a precedent - so don't be too surprised if at the close of X-Men: Apocalypse he's once again a leader of the team. Just like in the comics, when he was put in charge of training the New Mutants... ...What was the name of that next X-movie again? Oh yeah.
