Just in case you haven't stepped near a television for the past decade, Tony Shalhoub received serious attention and praise for his role in the
USA Network series Monk. In it, he irresistibly portrays a detective who suffers from agoraphobia, obsessive compulsiveness, and germaphobia, and it is this show, rather than his frequent movie appearances that have made him a screen success. Chances are, Monk is where you will recognise Shalhoub from, but he also had some bit parts in the first two Men In Black movies as Jack Jeebs, who runs a pawn shop but is also not-so-secretly an alien who has the ability to regrow his head when it gets shot off. Naturally, this comes in handy for someone who hangs around with Tommy Lee Jones.
