When Hayley Joel Osment was 12, he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in The Sixth Sense. Pretty impressive considering most 12 year olds are barely able to talk to regular adults and this kid was convincingly communing with dead ones. He went on to be the best thing about A.I. Artificial Intelligence, the longest movie ever made (don't fact check that), proving his skill for playing tiny creepy boys/robots better than anyone else in the business. Osment disappeared for a good few years and it seemed like he might've retired from acting, preserving the public's image of him as a sweet child with extremely stare-y eyes. Instead, he crashed back into our consciousness this year as part of the bro-fest that was the Entourage movie. The majority of the big names that showed up in that frat boy fantasy of a film played themselves, with varying degrees of self-awareness. Osment played a rich financier's son who clashes with Vince over a girl and he did an OK job of it but it's still a bummer seeing his career relaunch happen on the back of such a body-spray drenched misfire.
