8 DC Comic-Con Details You Probably Missed
3. Doom Patrol Gets Renewed
Since DC Universe launched last year, two shows that have received a whole host of praise are Titans and Doom Patrol.
In some great news, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment saw San Diego Comic-Con as the perfect opportunity to announce that Doom Patrol has been renewed for a second season. As well as airing on DC Universe, this new season will also air on the recently announced HBO MAX service when Season 2 premieres at a to-be-confirmed 2020 date.
Where the aforementioned Titans is concerned, the already-shot second season for that gritty Teen Titans offering was confirmed for a September 6th premiere on DC Universe. And while Season 2 plot details for Doom Patrol are obviously unknown at this early juncture, we do know that Titans’ second year will see DC favourites such as Superboy, Aqualad, Deathstroke, Jericho, Ravager, Mercy Graves and a certain Bruce Wayne joining the action.
Sticking with DC TV news coming out of SDCC, it was likewise announced that the fabulous Young Justice has been renewed for a fourth season. Said Season 4 of the animated series is already in production ahead of a 2020 premiere.
